Synastry: read what happens between two charts
Drop in the birth data of two people and cross their charts. You will see what lights up between them: the three strongest connections first, and below, every aspect their planets form.
Frequently asked questions
What is synastry?
Synastry looks at two charts at once and reads what happens between them. It crosses one person's planets with the other's (your Moon against their Sun, your Mars against their Venus) and tracks what lights up at each crossing: where you recognise each other without having to explain, where you brush past and a spark jumps, where one of you teaches the other something they only learn alongside you. It is not a compatibility test or a verdict, and it promises no endings. It is the map of the current already running between two people.
What relationships is it for?
Any bond you want to understand, not just the romantic kind. A long friendship, a mother and her daughter, two people who work side by side: in all of them, something runs between the charts. Synastry does not say whether a relationship is good or bad. It says what kind of energy runs the crossing: where it flows on its own, where it strains, where the friction actually moves things.
Do I need the exact birth time?
Not necessary. Without the time you lose the Ascendant and houses, but the aspects between planets are still there, and they carry most of what a synastry reads. If you do not know it, leave the toggle off and we use solar noon; the crossing between planets barely shifts.
Do you store the other person's data?
No. We do not store the date, time, or place of birth of either person. Only the result of the calculation stays (the signs and the aspects) for 30 days, so you can return to the link and share it. After that, the record deletes itself.
How do I read the result?
The three crossings with the most weight come first, the ones that pull hardest on the relationship based on orb and the planets they touch. Start there: they are the most direct way into what happens between the two charts. Below them is the full list, in case you want to follow the thread crossing by crossing.
