Mercury in house 3

Twelve browser tabs open and a small bright thrill at the thought of a thirteenth. Mercury feels most itself here, because you were born with it in your third house, the house of the everyday mind and the streets right outside the door, the errands and the chatter and the talking-back. Your thinking is fast, hungry, friendly, the kind that narrates itself in the shower and tries out the joke before an audience exists. Conversation is not how you report your thoughts. It is how you have them. A sibling, by blood or by choice, was probably your first real school, the person you argued ideas into shape with before either of you knew that was learning. Trouble is, the new tab always glows warmer than the finished one, so you start ten times and land twice. Pick two or three questions and let them age inside you for a year before you trade them in. You can discipline the curiosity without dimming it. Some of your clearest thinking waits for a long walk with one good companion and no phone within reach, so go make room for that on purpose.
