The two of the hour and the two of the minutes line up: 02:02. A double mirror hour in the deep middle of the night, the body horizontal for hours but the mind not quite there yet.

Two and two make four, the number for whatever stands up without being watched. At two in the morning that is literal. The walls are holding, the work you did yesterday is still done, the alarm is still set. None of it requires you conscious. Four is the part of your life that does not need supervising.
