South-node opposition Sun

The Sun burns at the North Node, the heading you came to become, and shines clear across the axis to the South Node, where the role you already play keeps the spotlight warm. Your identity gets claimed by both ends at once. Your selfhood reaches for the unfamiliar, the inherited self draws it back, the old self repeats you, the new heading remakes you again. Some days a fresh identity carries you a long way out. Other days the familiar role calls you back onstage. The pull between the two performances is the work being asked. Step out of the long-worn part, but do not disown the self that wore it so well for so long.
